Summary

The Senior Director of Mental Health Services will provide administrative and clinical leadership to staff managing teams providing street-based outreach services. This includes direct supervision of Director-level staff to ensure high quality services focused on harm reduction, trauma informed care, and proactive engagement are delivered. This also includes ensuring services are outcome and intervention focused, and performance driven. The Senior Director will also maintain relationships with partner agencies and funders to ensure continued funding and contract compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Provide supervision to outreach teams ensuing appropriate oversight of the multidisciplinary outreach teams scope of work
  2. Interface with partners, including community health providers, the business community, and social service/housing providers to reduce the number of homeless people living on the streets
  3. Navigate relationships with all funders including governmental, County and City elected officials by being responsive in order to inform this work and deliver services that are focused on best practices.
  4. Work in collaboration with all Directors to remove barriers to permanent housing; e.g., acquisition of identification, legal aid, benefits assistance, life skills acquisition
  5. Provide administrative oversight to monthly contract billing and tracking of outcomes ensuing that Outcomes and Performance Reports have accurate data and are completed on time.
  6. Provide clinical and administrative supervision to Directors and Assistant Directors, and when necessary to Program Managers.
  7. Complete performance evaluations on direct reports and provide oversight ensuring that performance evaluations are be completed for all staff under your administration
  8. Provide clinical supervision to staff working towards clinical licensure.
  9. Lead and facilitate meetings, case conferences, and trainings of outreach staff.
  10. Lead assessments to identify process gaps and create program improvements to ensure continued innovations and enhancements in client care and staff support / retention.
  11. Guide client crisis interventions and triage assessments with staff by responding to medical and mental health crises, including writing LPS 5150 applications when warranted.
  12. Review, alongside Directors, reports generated from HMIS and CHAMP, review errors, and discuss action plan to ensure corrections are made in timely manner.
  13. Participate in the agency’s quality assurance program and ensure the implementation of quality improvement activities across outreach programs to ensure ongoing quality outcomes.
  14. Participate in funding applications and program development as requested, gathering necessary documentation for RFP process when funding opportunities are identified.
  15. Partner with other Senior Directors in the larger department to implement strategic and system enhancements.
  16. Facilitate collaborative meetings with outreach leadership and work towards integrated services.
  17. Work with Directors to ensure they are providing oversite and are managing file review for required grant documentation and eligibility
  18. Conduct ongoing record keeping and client file management for quality assurance and audit preparation
  19. Assist with program/fiscal audits
  20. Attend all meetings requested by funders
  21. Special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  1. Masters’ degree in mental health field (Social Work, MFT, or Psychology); licensed and in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences preferred.
  2. Extensive experience working with homeless individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and co-occurring disorders.
  3. Experience implementing programs that incorporate Trauma Informed Care, Harm Reduction, and Housing First philosophies.
  4. At least 5 years of management/supervisory experience preferred.
  5. Experience managing and providing oversight to multiple teams.
  6. Highly detail oriented with excellent time management, organizational, written, verbal, and cross-cultural communication skills.

Work Environment

  1. On occasion walk or drive to different local sites
  2. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend and occasionally lift or carry up to 35 pounds
  3. Field (may need to travel) and indoor office environment
  4. Will necessitate working in busy and loud environments
  5. Will be exposed to elements like cold, heat, dust, noise and odor
  6. May need to bend, stoop, twist, and sit throughout the day

We are seeking a creative and reliable Marketing Coordinator to join our team in our Los Angeles office to help curate content that communicates our ability to elevate clients, people, and places. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support general marketing activities, marketing resources, and systems.
  • Maintain and update information in Deltek Vision database about the business development activities of the local office and those of a firmwide nature that are orchestrated through that office, including such things as leads, contacts, and other background information.
  • Identify specific client and project opportunities through research, monitoring of newspapers, websites, and other sources of RFP advertisements.
  • Coordinate the preparation of statements of interest, statements of qualifications, proposals, SF330 forms, annual roster responses, and miscellaneous marketing correspondence, etc.
  • Develop and produce high quality qualification packages, proposals, and presentations:
    • Engage relevant internal and external team members to obtain information required to develop qualifications and proposal content.
    • Edit technical portions, write and edit non-technical portions of proposals.
    • Work with graphic design team to create and/or select graphics (photography, charts, diagrams, etc.) to communicate required information.
    • Coordinate all proposal materials (graphics, text, forms, formats, sub-consultant materials) for final deliverable.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in proposal preparation and proposal management within the A/E/C industry.
  • Proficiency in InDesign and PowerPoint is required; working knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, Miro, and database programs such as Deltek Vision and Axomic OpenAsset is a plus.
  • Professional services marketing experience is preferred.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and research skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of personnel, including management staff and support staff.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks; work efficiently under multiple deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize, self-schedule, and be detail and deadline oriented.
  • Must exhibit high energy, enthusiasm, and positivity.

We are seeking an Environmental Graphic Designer to join our team in our Los Angeles office. You will work in a collaborative environment to create a holistic experience in a built environment through experiential graphics and wayfinding & signage. You will also be part of all phases of the architectural project from programming, conceptual design, design development, and documenting through implementation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

General

  • Highly creative, open minded, and self-motivated designer who will bring positive energy to the team
  • Collaborative designer that works well in an interdisciplinary, fast-paced environment, as well as ability to work autonomously.
  • Understands branding concepts and their integration in the built environment
  • Strong skills in typography, composition and layout, proportion, color, and wayfinding and information design
  • Contributes to ideation and creative problem solving during internal brain storming sessions
  • Maintains open communication within team and senior designers
  • Coordinates with architects and other external design team members to meet project requirements and deadlines.

Schematic Design

  • Generates multiple initial concepts based on research and analysis, and a strong understanding of the client’s needs and objectives.

  • Drafts meeting notes for distribution and keep track of client feedback

Design Development

  • Develops and documents design to include scaled, dimensioned drawings with specific material selections
  • Coordinates effectively with internal architecture and interior teams to gather necessary assets
  • Develops plan diagrams and elevations

Design Intent package

  • Supports transition of design documents into a detailed set, including technical details, specifications, and message schedules

Construction Administration

  • Creates production ready artwork
  • Coordinates with vendors and General Contractors for samples and mockups
  • Assists the Senior Designer in managing the fabrication and installation phases

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
  • Strong experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop specifically)
  • Working knowledge of CAD Tools
  • Knowledge in 3D rendering skills in Sketch-up or similar a plus, but not required
  • Familiarity with applicable codes, including ADA
  • Understanding of architectural scales and drawings – able to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings.
  • Desire and ability to travel if needed
